Web search

Lucius can search the web and read a specific page when a question needs current information — a stock’s latest news, a definition, a public filing. DuckDuckGo works out of the box, no account or key, so search works the moment you ask.

Other providers

Prefer Tavily, Perplexity, Serper, Google Programmable Search, or Firecrawl? Add its API key under the connector’s settings. Each provider is its own separate tool, not a setting on one generic “search” tool, so you can set a permission level per provider if you trust one more than another (see Permissions).

What’s sent

A search sends only your query text; fetching a page sends only the URL — nothing about your accounts, holdings, or ledger, the same boundary as every other connector in this app.
